How To Tell Track Personnel You’re Good After Going Off Track

After my little off-road adventure at Turn 7, the first thing on my mind wasn’t lap times.

It was letting everyone know I was okay.

As I got back onto the track, I looked over and gave the corner workers a thumbs up.

Simple gesture.

But those people spend all day watching over us, making sure we can push ourselves in the safest environment possible.

They don’t get enough credit.

When something happens, they’re already paying attention before most riders even realize it.

The bike was fine.

I was fine.

And the thumbs up was my way of saying thanks for looking out.

Now it was time to get back to riding.
