🚨 Public Service Announcement for the Week Ahead… 🚨
Mother Nature has apparently decided we’re all auditioning for a role in a rotisserie chicken commercial. 🥵🔥
By the end of the week, the heat index could climb to 107°. At that point:
🌡️ Your steering wheel becomes a branding iron.
🥚 You can fry an egg on your driveway.
🐶 Your dog gives you the look that says, “Absolutely not.”
🚗 Getting into your car will feel like opening the oven to check on cookies… except you’re the cookie.
If you see me out showing houses this week, just know I’m smiling on the outside while slowly melting into a puddle on the inside. 😅
Stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, check on your neighbors, bring your pets inside, and remember… if you drop your ice cream, don’t chase it. It’s already gone. 🍦😂
Who’s ready for fall? 🍂🙋♀️

RESET DAY
You know those days when your brain says, “Let’s get everything done!”… but your feet just stand there looking at the 47 projects waiting for you? 😂
Welcome to my Friday.
I’ve got approximately 1,000,001 projects around the house calling my name:
🏡 Organize this.
🎨 Finish that.
🪴 Plant something.
📦 Put away the pile that’s been “temporary” for three weeks.
☕ And somehow remember to eat lunch.
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t doing the work—it’s deciding where to start.
So today’s mission isn’t to conquer everything. It’s just to pick one thing, finish it, and let that momentum build.
Progress beats perfection… even if my to-do list disagrees. 😅
Anyone else having a “reset day” today? What’s the one project you’re finally tackling this weekend?

🐾 Why Aren’t Builders Doing This? 🏡
Can we talk about this built-in dog feeding station for a minute?
With so many homeowners treating their pets like family, it makes me wonder why features like this aren’t standard in more new construction homes.
📊 Consider this:
• Nearly 70% of U.S. households own a pet (over 90 million homes!)
• More than half of dog owners consider their pets family members
• Americans spend over $147 billion annually on their pets
• Pet-friendly features consistently rank high on many buyers’ wish lists
Yet most builders are still designing homes as if pets are an afterthought.
This simple built-in feeding station:
✔ Keeps food and water bowls off the main walkway
✔ Creates a cleaner, more organized kitchen
✔ Helps contain spills and messes
✔ Looks custom and high-end
✔ Makes life easier for both pets and their humans
As someone who walks through hundreds of homes, I can tell you buyers notice thoughtful details. Features don’t always have to be expensive to make a home stand out—they just need to solve real-life problems.
🐶 If you were building your dream home, would you include a built-in pet station like this?
And while we’re at it… what other pet-friendly features should builders start incorporating into new homes?
