This month, we partnered with a few amazing organizations, including the Philippine American Community Center of Michigan (PACCM) Paaralang Pilipono, Klawsome! in Novi, & the Ann Arbor YMCA🏡

From group readings to story-making workshops and tabling, we had an amazing time connecting with families and children all around — a huge thank you to our collaborators for having us! 📚📝

Lastly, major congratulations to for hosting a reading of Yuna Choe & The Perfect Bowl of Rice on the first stop of their book tour in D.C. 🏙️

Last Saturday, we partnered with Daycroft School in Ann Arbor for our 2nd pop-up book fair! 📖✨

We are so thankful for everyone who came out to support us! A special thank you to Daycroft School for teaming up with us and our wonderful volunteers for helping us with the event! 🫶🏼

ACC has been working closely with Jessica and Celine to bring this heartfelt story to life! Coming May 5, 2026, this story celebrates culture, family, and finding the “perfect bowl” in our own way. 💛
