Do you find the scratching sound pleasant or cringy? I see the comments, and they seem to be leaning towards… can’t stand the noise!

Maybe next reel will just be a compilation of screen printing sounds 😅

Ive noticed when Im viewing reels if something doesn’t happen in about 5 seconds I swipe on to a new reel. For that reason all my past reels I’ve sped up and tried to keep quick and only show what matters.

For this reel I kept everything at normal speed and you may swipe on or find it boring, but I thought it was a nice relaxing change of pace.

What do you want to see next?

With a lot of different numbered street stations, this seems to be more efficient than having a screen for each station. Same goes for doing the train line. Signs with one train line, each start with a base circle of white ink.

It’s been a busy December and beginning of January. I will try to get back to posting more often. I have some exciting custom signs I’ll be showing soon.

If you are thinking about buying a subway sign for a holiday gift, now Is the time! December gets very busy and signs are made to order. In past years, orders were shipping 3 weeks after ordered due to high volume in peak season.

If you are hoping for a Black Friday/cyber Monday deal, I can’t guarantee anything. I have not done any sales in past years cause orders were already backed up.

Free Sign Friday!

I’ve done this once before, but I’m giving away one 17” subway sign. It must be a standard sign from the website, no custom signs.

Usual stuff, you need to watch the reel, be following my account, and then just comment which sign you would like! I will randomly pick a person and message them Sunday.

If you are chosen, you will need to provide a shipping address. Due to costs, it must be shipped to lower 48 United States, and no international shipping.

I saw a recent comment wondering if I ever make mistake’s. I figured this was a good example. The answer is rarely, but it does happen. With this sign the ink went outside the screen image, but it was easy enough to wipe away with water and there is no mark on the final sign.

I do touch up all signs at the very end with a fine paint brush aswell.

One of my favorite sign designs. The screen used to print the text for Grand Central is one of my oldest screens. It was one of the first screens I made. It has held up so well over the years I’ve just never needed to replace it.

Which reminds me I need to make a video on making screens.
