I'm Cara Fox, Principal Consultant here at ZenFox Solutions. I am a creative talent development professional with over 25 years experience in a multitude of areas that all came together to form my approach, philosophy, and curiosity towards human behavior, how we interact, and how we lead effectively. My education includes degrees in Psychology and Economics, a certificate in Personnel Management,
as well as multiple professional designations (SPHR = Senior Professional of Human Resources, CPTD = Certified Professional of Talent Development, CWPM = Certified Wellness Program Manager) and certifications. Ultimately, my focus and the programs I create weave all of my passions and areas of experience together: Alaskan tourism and customer service, massage therapy and wellness, human resources and performance management, corporate training & development, leadership development, facilitation, and a love of the natural world. I have been in leadership roles most of my life, starting in high school. I have worked with leaders of all levels of experience and in multiple industries ranging from market research to aviation to trucking, and many more in between. I consider myself a work in progress, always hungry to learn more, as I believe ideal leaders are lifelong learners. I create programs to help people explore, reach, grow, and be empowered to succeed in a way that is meaningful to them. I am a lifelong Alaskan (originally from Fairbanks), though I have traveled all over the world. I am a mother of two wonderful children - entering their teen years - and trying to make the most of every minute I have with them before they grow up. I am a wife and partner to a loving, loyal, and supportive husband. I am also a daughter and sister in an amazing, blended, loving and supportive family. I am a reader, creator, and cook. I am a zebra - this means that I live with chronic illness that is often invisible that makes my body react differently than most and defy expectations of the medical world (doctors are taught in medical school - "if you hear hoof beats, expect horses not zebras.") I like to think that I defy expectations in all my endeavors too. I would love to work with your organization to develop programs for your people to learn, grow, and thrive. I am working on creating standalone programs that offer development opportunities for professionals from all types of companies and industries, to connect, learn, and grow together.
