After being gone for over 6 months our boy Cloud has made it back home! Funny thing is he was less than 3 minutes away from our house this whole time. Apparently right after a family lost an orange cat of their own, and lost a dog, Cloud showed up at their house. With as bad of a winter that we had, and all the stray dogs in the San Jacinto area I was terrified that we lost him. Thank you Stephanie Diltz, and family for taking such good care of our boy!

Now here we are with a total of 16 stray babies in our care!
Seeing a hungry cat on the street is never easy. I can't help every animal out there, but whenever I can, I try to make life a little easier for the ones that cross my path. Sometimes a small meal, a little patience, and a bit of kindness can mean more than we realize. Those quiet moments remind me that helping doesn't require a lot—just a heart that cares.
We have permission from our realty company to put up our own fencing for our dog, and the cats! In need of good wooden pallets, chicken fence, 2 x 4’s, and additional supplies for this project! Any donations would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare (AMW) is offering free spay and neuter surgeries for qualifying pets through a Texas Department of State Health Services Animal Friendly Grant.
This program is separate from AMW's existing voucher program and provides surgeries through a partnership with the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be a Potter County resident within Amarillo city limits (proof of residency required)
• Maximum of four pets per household
• Pets must be at least three months of age or older
• Services are available by appointment only
The grant specifically allows funding for qualifying Potter County residents within Amarillo city limits and aims to provide free surgeries for cats and dogs through August 2026.
Appointment availability is limited and will be filled on a first-available basis. Residents interested in participating should contact AMW to determine eligibility and be added to the appointment schedule. To help staff efficiently process requests, please use only one method of communication when requesting an appointment. An AMW staff member will respond with next steps and scheduling information.

We made enough over the weekend to get all 4 kitten cremations paid for, and brought home today! 🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛🐈🪽
Don’t forget every Sunday unless otherwise posted, I’ll be having a yard sale! Mostly selling my personal Funko Pop collection, and some other miscellaneous things including homemade candles, and attempting to get some kittens adopted out properly.

So I’m thinking a diy pallet chicken coop style Catio is the move to give our stray babies some more room to roam freely when we’re not outside with them. Feel free to comment if anyone has good quality pallets, and chicken fence to donate please!!! We want to enjoy our yard with them, but also keep them safe from road, and stray dangers. 🙏🐈🐈⬛

I’ll be having a yard sale, and an adoption for some newborn kittens that are officially old enough to be rehomed. I’ll be selling what inventory I have of homemade candles, Funko POPS, and some other misc. stuff! These funds are to help us get the medical support for the stray kitties we’ve adopted, and eventually fund a Catio. Feel free to stop on by!
