Zelda is a beautiful tabby who's about a year old and as sweet as they come. This lovely girl has a gentle personality and absolutely adores head rubs—they're the quickest way to win her heart!
She's the perfect age: past the tiny kitten stage but still young, playful, and full of life. With her gorgeous tabby coat, loving nature, and irresistible charm, Zelda is ready to find the forever home she's been waiting for.

Rescue work is supposed to be about saving lives.

But one of the hardest truths in rescue is this: saving lives does not always mean adopting every pet out.

Some animals are deeply loved. Some have been given time, training, veterinary care, structure, patience, and every reasonable chance. And sometimes, despite all of that, they are still not safe.

Not safe for people.
Not safe for other animals.
Not safe in a home, foster home, shelter, or community.

That is the part of rescue people do not like to talk about, but we need to.

Pushing every pet into adoption just so we can say “no kill” or keep our numbers looking good can put families, adopters, volunteers, other pets, and the animal themselves at risk.

Responsible rescue is not just about placement. It is about honesty, safety, and quality of life.
