I was out for a walk the other day and saw this beautiful scene of the Canadian geese flying toward to moon as the sun set. It was so nice that instead of reaching for my phone to snap a pic, I decided to just take it in.

But.. it was stuck in my head, and I just needed to share the beauty another way! So here’s a little art using watercolour paint and ink.

What are you saying Yes to today?

✨ I’m saying yes to embracing the raw, imperfect nature of creating. I’m sharing some art that is unpolished, unrefined and very imperfect.

I realized that I could let it sit buried in the files on my computer for a few more weeks, months or years, until I decided to dedicate time to perfecting it, or I could just post the darn thing! 🎨

I hope that one day I’ll look back on it, and feel that I’ve grown as an artist, but for now, I just need to accept and embrace the uneven lines that were drawn with the spark of creativity and joy.
