The Stormwater Team was formed in 2004 to educate individuals and businesses on how to reduce stormwater pollution by keeping trash and other pollution out of our stormwater system.

Arroyos serve a critical purpose in our city, preventing flooding by steering rainwater away from our homes. This also means that they are essentially a highway to the Rio Grande. Make sure to discard debris, litter, and yard waste properly to keep these ditches and the Rio clean.
