Honoring New Mexico's Veterans.
Today, ABQ RIDE proudly transported 32 Veterans to the airport on their way to D.C. for the 2026 Honor Flight of Northern New Mexico. The group included Veterans from WWII and the Korean, Cold, and Vietnam Wars. In their honor, the Albuquerque Police Department ensured safe passage with a motorcade blocking off I-25.
Fly safe, Veterans and thank you for your service. Congratulations to the Honor Flight of Northern New Mexico nonprofit for a successful event.
Operation Bus Stop Cleanup Mission Accomplished! π§Ήπβ¨
Volunteers came together this morning at the annual Adopt-A-Stop Community Bus Stop Cleanup to tidy bus stops along Central from Girard all the way to Tramway, making an immediate difference for riders and our community. Volunteers and ABQ RIDE staff worked side by side, met neighbors, learned about our bus stop adoption program, and helped beautify ABQ's transit system.
A special thanks for everyone's hard work, energy, and community spirit that made city bus stops cleaner, safer, and more welcoming for everyone.
