Alaska APRN Alliance is a legislative advocacy group for the Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) in Alaska. The new website we built offers their members ease in finding pertinent information or making a contribution to this non-profit organization. Many of these nurses volunteer their time to travel to the capital and share with legislators the situations faced by their patients and other nurses in Alaska.

Positive Impact! A few years ago, we created a website with an online store (Beesezi.com) for BeeSezi, a Navajo family-farm business that grows, processes and sells Navajo corn products. Last year during the pandemic, they SOLD OUT of their main product, Neeshjizhii, which is the Navajo word for dried steamed white corn.

While working on the website, we reached out to Navajo language experts to assure we spelled Neeshjizhii correctly as there were many variations on spelling. The Navajo language is complex and there are unique letters in the word Neeshjizhii that we included on the website.

Prior to the pandemic, Becky was honored to tour the operation and see how the products were made. It was gratifying to work with farmers and promote agricultural products.
