coming to a coffee shop near you 😏
First time sharing this here. Ya girl is the barista supervisor and I’m really really excited about it.
when told me about a possible opportunity, I didn’t hesitate to reach out. The burn out I am experiencing with food has been building for a while and this year just accelerated it.
I needed change but I knew I needed to take care of people. I knew I wanted the service industry but I didn’t want to just take a job cooking. And that’s something I never thought I’d feel and it’s so weird.
* not saying I’m not ever gonna cook professionally again, ya girl just needs a break
Coffee is a craft I’ve always been curious about. I’ve always wanted to learn more, pour latte art, and just understand coffee. I think it’s so cool, and it’s so much more than Starbucks // Folgers with extra cream and sugar. It’s more than just a drip pot, it has this ritual, sacred component that I just love.
As a result of Tya and my own curiosity… I’ve found and the coolest humans behind it 🥺🤎🙆🏼♀️
I’ve learned SO MUCH in the past two weeks and I can’t wait to just step into this role, this community, this space.
It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this good doing something. I’m so excited to pour drinks// take care of humans; work with my team.

Bare feet, mushrooms, and sunshine, what more could a hippie girl ask for ✨
finalllllly got my hands on and this little sliver is just a chunks off of the giant mushroom cluster I bought.
I sautéed these with butter and ate them directly out of the pan AND here’s the cool thing when you buy your food locally, and really actually FRESH, it’s freaking so damn good 🤤
when I was a kid, I hated when my parents got mushrooms on our pizza, they were slimy, rubbery, and they made my teeth squeak when I bit down
Over time I just started trying them again. Taste buds change and there have been foods I’ve wanted to try but maybe I didn’t like all the parts of the food…. You know what I did, tried it anyway 🤣😆
so often at the store these things are gross, discolored, and slimy because they’re already going bad 🤣 + have traveled from who knows where
anyways, my point, go to a farmers market, support the little guy, source local produce AND try a mushroom, it won’t hurt ya 🤗
