Every time I photograph a newborn session, a little part of my heart travels back in time.

The tiny fingers. They sleepy stretches (one of my favorites). The way everything feels slow and fast all at the same time. I had three newborn seasons, all very different but all so sweet. It goes so fast. Faster than you think when you're in it. But oh what I wouldn't do to go back in time and snuggle my newborn babies just for a moment.

It is such an honor to freeze this season for families who are right in the middle of it. πŸ©·πŸ’™

❄❄ Snow day! ❄❄

I am not used to snow and neither are my kids! We lived really close to Florida for 7 years and we didn't see a lot of snow. This was actually the most snow I have ever seen in real life! My daughter got bundled up, went outside for maybe 5 minutes, starting crying and begged to go back inside 🀣 I am kind of with her, I am not a fan of the cold! The snow was so beautiful, but I enjoyed admiring it from inside. We baked goodies, made soup, sat by the fire, and played games. We did have fun and it was so nice just to have no plans! But, I am not going to make it sound like this was just the most perfect day, my kids had cabin fever and were absolutely crazy πŸ˜… Running around the house, lots of yelling and fighting between the kids - you know, all the fun sibling things you do when you all stuck inside together for few days.🀣

The snow is all melted now and I am really excited for some warmer weather! So, let's book some Spring sessions! Message me and let's get it on the calendar! 🌼

This season is loud and quiet at the same time. Big changes coming, but right now, it's just your family. One of the reasons I love maternity sessions so much, they are so full of love, laughter, excitement and joy! It's not just about poses, it's about capturing the feeling and emotion that comes with this season. The feeling you want to remember and the reason you get maternity photos done in the first place!

I know sweet little Emma will be a great big sister! She was absolutely precious and leaf obsessed!πŸ‚ She added several little leaf surprises to a lot of our photos!

✨Red truck minis were pure joy and so much fun this weekend! πŸ›» I love all of the love, laughter, snuggles and smiles that I get to capture each year during these sessions! When we got this truck, this is exactly what I envisioned. I hope these sessions bring you as much joy as they bring me each year! ✨And yes, picture overload. I have way too many favorites I couldn't choose!
