Civic Engagement is one of the key curriculum components of Successteam Youth Council and the Scholar Experience. On an annual basis, one of the most highly anticipated aspects of is our Executive Leadership Team Elections where the incoming cohort elects their President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Outreach Coordinator

Candidates are nominated and participate in an in-depth campaign process that challenges their ability to communicate, advocate, and engage. Ultimately, the process results in expanded leadership development, exercises decision making, and results in the gift of highly touted responsibility.

Congratulations to the Inaugural Cohort of our Successteam Emerging Leaders Fellowship for successfully completing their Summer ‘26 internship experience

Making History as the first Alumni, College Students, & Young Adults to partake in our multi-month Fellowship-structured internship program resulting in:

• 2,500+ Hrs of Impact
• (11) Cohort Members
• (6) Colleges & Universities Represented
• (2) States Represented: SC & GA
• 150+ Students & Community Members Served

Fellows demonstrated leadership through professional tracks including: Executive Leadership, Health & Wellness, Program Coordination, Data Analytics, and Media & Content

Successteam Youth Council Scholars are immersed into curriculum geared toward future readiness heavily featuring the aspects of College & Career Readiness, Workforce Development, Opportunistic Exposure, Financial Literacy, Professional Branding, & Soft Skill Development
