We train children, youth and vulnerable communities to discover their strength, empower them to take charge of their health. We NRT–Uganda believe that everyone has something unique to offer, help them discover that uniqueness in them so that they can be who they are meant to be, not what others want them to be. We set the pace, we empower them now and get them involved. We strongly believe in having every Ugandan participate in health promotion activities (the process of enabling people to increase control over, and to improve, their health (Ottawa charter, 1986); our work is to advocate for, mediate and enable communities to achieve highest levels of health and development.
