Pleased to announce that’ll be the Host for the "Breaking the Silence on HIV/AIDS" conference.
The event will take place on Next Friday, August 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Parkdale Hall, 1605 Queen Street West #2, Toronto, Ontario. Admission is free, with breakfast, lunch, and volunteer opportunities available.

It's not always...ideal to get mental health services. It is a fact that there are different obstacles to overcome, and these obstacles can take the form of walls or mountains to climb depending on where you are or contingent upon your intersectional identity. Several obstacles prevent people from accessing mental health services for example the cost, language barrier (spoken, signed, etc.), getting a therapist with the necessary training; credentials, and cultural competency, limited options and distance, limited resources (in-person, telehealth, both, home-based, in community organizations like hospitals, etc.), therapeutic trauma (in collaboration with former service providers) -and regrettably, even more.

Even so, I urge you to keep learning about your requirements, wants, and areas for improvement as well as what must be done for you to begin on your mental wellness journey. and if you don’t give up.
