Music is very important on your day. It sets the atmosphere for the day. Having a good DJ or a band to play is so important. Do not just hire a mate because they love music and have some dj-ing skills. People will hardly remember the food they ate, but they will always remember the dancing and entertainment they had at your wedding thus judging your wedding by this. The cocktail hour, when the guests arrive, has gentle background music.

Then the wedding party is introduced with a song, and then a different song introduces the bride and groom. Each event like cake cutting, should also have a special song to be played.Not all first dances have to be slows. You can choose to have a salsa tune, or a nice traditional tune or something that means something to the couple.
Maybe a song you both listened to when you we’re first dating.
