Celebrating Women’s Labor on International Workers’ Day 📣

As the world commemorates International Workers’ Day today, it is crucial to acknowledge that this day is for every woman who contributes to the workforce ☀️

However, we recognize that many Tanzanian women may not identify themselves as “workers.”

To every woman selling goods on the streets, tailoring clothes, managing households, caring for children and their community, or running businesses - this day is for you too.

You are workers, and your labour deserves recognition and respect!

Let us unite in solidarity to honour and celebrate women’s invaluable work, achievements, and contributions to families, communities, the economy, and Tanzania as a whole.
