Founded in 1986, Burning Man began as a small gathering on a San Francisco beach and has since evolved into one of the world’s most iconic cultural events. Every year, thousands of artists, designers, makers, and dreamers gather in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert to build a temporary city filled with monumental art installations, interactive sculptures, creative architecture, and immersive experiences.

At the heart of Burning Man stands “The Man,” a giant wooden figure that is ceremonially burned, symbolizing transformation, freedom, and new beginnings.
