About Artist | Exhibition of Season of Homecoming

Kasem Khaolaor

Born in a small Northern Thai village, I was raised amidst a vibrant, overwhelming nature and a culture rich in warm, resonant colors. My artistic journey began in Chiang Mai, where I developed an abstract-figurative expressionistic style. This approach remains anchored to the core nature and culture of my origin. With a mixed East-West identity, my paintings strike a powerful, lyrical balance between the abstract and the figurative, manifesting as captivating works of majestic scale.
