Shining Shadow Part III (2025)

ผลงานชุด Shining Shadow ทั้ง Part I, II และ III นำเสนอความเป็นไปได้ของงานออกแบบที่สามารถเป็นได้ทั้งประติมากรรมและบรรจุภัณฑ์ พร้อมทั้งสะท้อนศักยภาพของกระดาษหลากชนิดผ่านมุมมองการออกแบบใหม่ๆ

บรรจุภัณฑ์มักถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนผลิตภัณฑ์ภายใน โดยทั่วไปโครงสร้างจากกระดาษจะขึ้นรูปด้วยกาว และบริเวณที่มีกาวก็มักถูกซ่อนทับอยู่ภายใน ผลงานชุดนี้จึงเลือกชี้ให้เห็นและเน้นย้ำ “พื้นที่ซ้อนทับ” ที่ปกติไม่เคยมองเห็นและไม่เคยได้รับความสำคัญ ผ่านการใช้ชุดกระดาษสีพิเศษย้อมเยื่อ หลากพื้นผิว หลายความหนา มาสร้างเป็นโครงสร้างและรูปทรงที่ไร้การใช้กาว พร้อมประยุกต์เทคนิคเลเซอร์คัตลงบนพื้นที่ซ้อนทับ ทำให้สิ่งที่เคยถูกซ่อนกลับโดดเด่นและน่าค้นหา

ผลงานออกแบบบรรจุภัณฑ์ชุดนี้สำรวจความเป็นไปได้ที่บรรจุภัณฑ์จะไม่ได้ทำหน้าที่เพียงห่อหุ้มสินค้า แต่สามารถดำรงอยู่ในฐานะงานประติมากรรมได้ในเวลาเดียวกัน ผ่านการใช้กระดาษที่หลากหลาย ทั้งสี พื้นผิว และความหนา

แทนที่จะซ่อนพื้นที่ที่เกิดจากการประกอบโครงสร้าง — พื้นที่ซ้อนทับที่โดยปกติไม่ถูกมองเห็น — ผลงานกลับเลือกนำเสนอพื้นที่เหล่านี้ให้เด่นชัด ด้วยการออกแบบที่ไร้การใช้กาว และประยุกต์เทคนิคไดคัตลงบนรอยซ้อนทับ เพื่อทำให้สิ่งที่เคยถูกละเลยกลับกลายเป็นพื้นที่แห่งการค้นพบ

The Shining Shadow series — Part I, II, and III — explores the possibilities of design that can embody both sculpture and packaging, while showcasing the potential of diverse paper materials through innovative approaches.

Packaging is traditionally created to support and protect the product within. Its paper-based structures are often assembled with glue, with those glued areas hidden inside. This series, however, highlights the “overlapping spaces” that are usually unseen and overlooked. Using specially dyed papers in various textures and thicknesses, the works are constructed without glue, instead employing structural design and form. By incorporating laser-cutting techniques into these overlapping areas, what was once concealed becomes visible, striking, and thought-provoking.

This series explores the possibility of packaging that does not merely contain products, but also exists as sculpture in its own right. Through the use of papers in diverse colors, textures, and thicknesses, the works embody a dialogue between structure and surface.

Instead of concealing the overlapping areas created during construction — spaces that are usually hidden and overlooked — the design highlights them. Built entirely without glue and enhanced with die-cut techniques, these overlaps are transformed into striking focal points that invite discovery.

From exterior to interior, from the hidden to the revealed — the series demonstrates the potential of paper and redefines packaging as more than a functional object.

What was once concealed may, in fact, hold the most meaning.

More than Meets the Eye (2025)

ผลงานออกแบบบรรจุภัณฑ์ชุดนี้เชิญชวนผู้ชมให้ไม่เพียงมองด้วยสายตา แต่ยังเปิดประสบการณ์ตรงผ่านการสัมผัส สำรวจ และตีความไปพร้อมกัน ความหลากหลายของ 10 ชุดสี และ 10 รูปทรง ทำหน้าที่สะท้อนความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสิ่งที่ปรากฏภายนอกกับสิ่งที่ซ่อนอยู่ภายใน

จากภายนอกสู่ภายใน จากผิวสัมผัสสู่โครงสร้าง จากซ้ายไปขวา จากบนลงล่าง — ผลงานชุดนี้เน้นให้ผู้ชมสังเกตการเปลี่ยนผ่านของรูปแบบ รายละเอียด และมิติที่ซ่อนอยู่ในงานออกแบบ

บรรจุภัณฑ์จึงไม่ได้เป็นเพียงโครงสร้างที่ห่อหุ้มสินค้า แต่คือพื้นที่ที่ศิลปะและการออกแบบมาบรรจบกัน เป็นทั้งสื่อกลางและประสบการณ์ที่เปิดให้ค้นพบได้มากกว่าที่ตาเห็น

This packaging design series invites audiences not only to see, but also to experience, touch, and interpret. Through ten distinct color sets and ten structural forms, the works reflect the tension between what is visible on the surface and what lies hidden within.

From exterior to interior, from texture to structure, from left to right, and from top to bottom — the series emphasizes transitions in form, detail, and design language. Each piece reveals subtle layers that challenge perception and redefine the boundaries between appearance and essence.

Here, packaging is not merely a container for products. It becomes a space where art and design converge — a medium of communication and an experiential journey that offers more than meets the eye.

What appears on the outside may, or may not, be what truly exists within.

คือภาคต่อของชุดผลงาน Shining Shadow ที่เคยจัดแสดงในนิทรรศการกลุ่ม 2 ครั้ง ได้แก่
• Paper: The Expressive Potential of Paper Exhibition (2022) ที่ The Gallery of Art and Design, มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร
• School of Bangkok: International Art and Design Exhibition 2023 “Bangkok Feel Good 🙂 Feel good Bangkok” ที่ Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC)

ผลงานชุดนี้สำรวจ “พื้นที่ที่ถูกซ่อนและซ้อนทับ” ภายในโครงสร้างบรรจุภัณฑ์—พื้นที่ที่มักถูกมองข้าม ไม่เคยได้รับการเปิดเผยให้เห็น ด้วยการออกแบบโครงสร้างกระดาษไร้กาว ที่เผยให้เห็นรูปร่าง มิติ และเฉดสีใหม่เมื่อกระทบกับแสง

Shining Shadow Part II ไม่ได้ทำหน้าที่รองรับผลิตภัณฑ์เหมือนบรรจุภัณฑ์ทั่วไป แต่ทำหน้าที่ “เล่าเรื่อง” และ “สะท้อนตัวตน” ผ่านรูปทรงประติมากรรมจากกระดาษปอสาคุณภาพสูงเกรดส่งออกจาก Kozo Studio Thailand ผสานกับงานพิมพ์ความละเอียดสูง หมึกพิมพ์สีสะท้อนแสงจาก Canon Thailand และการออกแบบที่มองเห็นความงามของสิ่งที่ซ่อนอยู่ “พื้นที่ที่เคยถูกซ่อน”

Concept & Technique

ผลงานทั้ง 8 ชิ้นในชุดนี้เป็นโครงสร้างสามมิติหลากหลายรูปทรง (hybrid ระหว่าง origami และ die-cut) ที่ประกอบขึ้นรูปได้โดยไม่ใช้กาว จากกระดาษปอสาหลากแกรมและหลาย collection โดยเฉพาะ
• 200 gsm และ 100 gsm white mulberry paper
• Collection Sky และ Ombre

กระดาษปอสาแต่ละชุดที่เลือกใช้มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว—ทั้งหนา บาง สีขาว มีลวดลาย และสีสัน แต่ทุกแผ่นมีคุณสมบัติโปร่งแสง เยื่อเหนียว ฟู นุ่ม และให้สัมผัสเป็นธรรมชาติ ความต่างของผิวกระดาษทั้งสองด้านช่วยเพิ่มมิติให้ผลงาน บวกกับงานพิมพ์สีสะท้อนแสงคุณภาพสูงเมื่อกระทบแสงธรรมชาติภายนอกจะสะท้อนสีสันที่เฉิดฉาย แต่เมื่อแสงภายในส่องผ่าน จะเผยให้เห็นรูปร่างและชั้นสีที่ซ่อนอยู่ เกิดเป็นภาพซ้อนของเงาและแสงที่เปล่งประกายไปพร้อมกัน

ด้วยการวางแผนอย่างละเอียดในทุกขั้นตอน ตั้งแต่การตัด การพับ การขึ้นรูป และการซ่อนแสงไว้ภายใน ผลงานชุดนี้จึงไม่เพียงท้าทายขอบเขตของ “บรรจุภัณฑ์” แต่ยังนำเสนอ “ความเป็นไปได้ใหม่ของกระดาษ” ที่สามารถเป็นทั้ง งานออกแบบ และ ประติมากรรม ได้ในเวลาเดียวกัน
