(2019) A small nudibranch moves slowly across pale sand and coral rubble, its speckled body patterned with dark and yellow spots. Bright red appendages rise from its head and back, standing out sharply against the muted seabed.

It advances without a shell, relying on texture and subtle chemical defenses rather than speed. Each movement is deliberate, a quiet passage measured in millimeters across the reef floor.

Slender sea whips rise from the reef, curving gently toward the light as they spread across a of coral and stone. Their pale forms stand out against the darker reef, tracing quiet lines through the blue water above.

They move with the water rather than against it. Bending and returning with each passing surge, the colony reflects a balance shaped by current, depth, and time.

Batfish often linger near large objects, holding position around solid forms in open water.

Above them, a tighter school of small fish responds more quickly, flowing around the submerged wreck of HTMS Chang 712 in coordinated bursts shaped by light and current.
