The Governor of Upper Nile State, H.E. Jacob Dollar Ruot, on Saturday evening conducted an unannounced inspection visit to Malakal Market aimed at assessing the prevailing security situation, nighttime business operations, and the overall condition of commercial activities within the town.
During the visit, the Governor toured various sections of the market on foot, personally observing the general atmosphere and evaluating the level of safety and public order experienced by traders, residents, and visitors during evening hours.
H.E. Jacob Dollar Ruot also held direct interactions with business owners, market vendors, and members of the public, attentively listening to their concerns, experiences, and recommendations regarding trade, security, and service delivery.
The inspection underscores the Governor’s proactive leadership style and his continued commitment to maintaining close engagement with citizens while promoting security, economic activity, and public confidence across Upper Nile State.
