POLYGAMY IS JUST AS GOOD AS MONOGAMY

I've seen a statement made earlier by the Chairman Of TEYA sparking storms of arguments on social media. His support for polygamy has led to some people belittling and questioning his leadership skills, which is way out of context and It's safe to say that I'm seeing too much display of sentiment which is very unwise because opinions made based on emotions results into clouded judgements,impulsive actions and potentially negative consequences and let's not leave behind the fact that it makes a fool out of you,Trust me there's a bunch of repercussions.

This saga of monogamy and polygamy roaming around Facebook is suppose to be something debatable and we are suppose to brainstorm around it rather than handling it femininely and making a mess out of it,excuse my french but that's a damn shame.
A polygamist is just as the same as the monogamist,it's clear that the contrast isn't the same but the weight of the problems on both tables has one heavier than the other by only inches and both sides have their reasons for being polygamous or monogamous. My father was a monogamous man and I loved that about him,his wife gave him eight children which is a blessing but as much i liked that about him i still don't want to be a monogamist,I'd wish to have two or three wives,only if I have my way. Don't get it twisted

I'm a fan of polygamy but I also don't condone seeing people marrying many wives when they're financially drained and unstable,it's inhumane to bring a child to a world where he/she is introduced to hardship,prolonged sadness and suffering on the day of birth but is it also okay to debunk the fact that a man has to marry as many wives as he can as long as he's able to provide for them all?, I don't think so.

So Like I said before, people have their reasons of coming down to making some decisions and i'm certain that most polygamists are coerced by a list of things and the first is "Respect". In most marriages, the longevity of marriage and togetherness relies on the maintenance of respect,i wouldn't want to stay and feel happy on the bed where I don't feel respected and valued as a man and a provider,I would rather bring someone who respects me.
Let's not forget about Infertility, as we all know that the primacy of a family stands on children,having children around your compound,playing and calling you father is one of the primary goals in every marriage,so as much as I love a woman as a man I'll be forced to marry another woman who will give me kids,no disrespect to the other woman because she will still be a mother to her step children.

A cheating wife,a woman who lacks self esteem,transparency and pride can't be tolerated. It's not new to say that the pride of a man mostly depends on how his wife handles and respect herself publicly and privately,a woman who let men in when she's married to another is not the one to be pleased,she deserves seeing all the love being passed to someone who's built for it. The secondary problems are unresloved conflicts,lack of honesty,lack communication and etc.

In south sudan,we have a population of 11.94 million where the number of women is much bigger than the number of men,the percentage of women alone is approximately almost approaching 51%. That means there will always be 1-2.5 million unmarried females floating around the country annually,so if we men are to be monogamists and stick to one woman,where will the other girls go since the number of females is weighing more than the number of males. so to my dear sisters,here's the question, where will we take your fellow sisters ? Are we ready to hear news of suicides? are ready to hear girls taking their lives because of being old without marriage,without a home and children? Can we endure the pain of seeing our fellow sisters aging in our houses when they're suppose to be making kids with the men that they're suppose to be with but they can't make that happen because monogamy is getting prioritized?

So it is with my deepest respect for polygamy that makes me write this but that doesn't mean there's no disadvantages and my biggest point of is If Polygamy is bad then it's just as bad as monogamy. Thank you
