The meeting focused on improving cabinet coordination and aligning ministry work with government policy.

President Kiir called for stronger teamwork and urged ministers to put the national interest first in delivering services to citizens.

The President stressed that unity and effective delivery remain the SPLM’s top priority.

STRENGTHENING SOUTH SUDAN'S HEALTH SECTOR

Hon, Dr Martin Elia Lomuro, Minister of Cabinet Affairs who also doubles the Acting Minister of Health and Hon, Dr Kennedy Gaaniko Baime Clement Chaired Extraordinary High level Steering Committee ( HLSC ) Meeting with Partners, Donors and World Bank this morning 18th December- 2025 .

In His remarks Hon, Minister Dr , Martin Elia Lomuro who also doubles as Acting Minister of Health , highlighted some of critical strategic plans for the nation’s health situation.

"As the top decision-making body for health projects in South Sudan, the HLSC focused on ensuring transparency, financial accountability, and the effective delivery of medical services to all citizens."

Meanwhile Hon, Dr Kennedy Gaaniko Baime Clement, Undersecretary, Ministry of Health echoed the great work done by Health Sector Transformation project South Sudan for Health Services across the Country.

Donors and other Health Partners reaffirmed their continues dedication, commitment to support the Health sector accordingly.
