PS. ATENY WEK ATENY, Take this to the President or to the bank. (The public has endured enough of the Ignorance & malpractices)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why President should cancel the "Rivers Dredging & the Jonglei Canal Resumption projects" before the public horrors grows to the climax!
1. When you declassified the classified information regarding the 2013 skirmishes, it was an art of political obstruction and throat-cutting of the opponents. Some sorts of scoring public attention to understand who were behind the unprecedented war that brought the country down to her knees and those cited in the declassified audios could as well be scheming against you in silence for political revenge and survival.
2. Base on that perspective, the recent emergence of dredging news and possible resumption of Jonglei Canal which was categorically denied by your office (Ateny Wek Ateny) of lacking the knowledge and being part or parcel of the projects. The contradiction erupted between the Cabinet Ministers & Vice Prsidents, it appeared like a blame game. Late Hon. Manawa Peter Gatkuoth stood his ground and broke the deadlock that the dredging project was passed as a cabinet resolution and signed last year in 2021. This one too is a political set up and trap.
3. The country is gearing up towards general elections as stipulated by the revitalized agreement the R-ARCSS. Are you willing to contest for the upcoming elections? And are the signatories to the agreement planning to extend the election period? In case you plan to contest, this dredging/canal digging project should immediately be put on hold. It is a political tool against the prospects of your party for re- elections.Take it or leave it, it is from the true prophet. You can go for the false prophet.
4. Mr. President, the situation in the grassroots (Villages & City suburbs) is not in your favour to be honest. if you are not aware or not being informed by your immediate/aides, it is appalling and rising at high rate. The national army and other organized forces are hungry, the basic salary is not sufficient and the insecurity is rampant. The general public is on brink of famine because the living standards is below one dollar per day and the priority should not be dredging or any other that doesn't have immediate effect on the impoverished population. Be wise!
5. The scientific and environmental facts steadly maitained it that dredging is never the badly needed solution to floodings. What stands as an impending solution to floodings, is for the affected community (ies) to relocate to highlands, or go for contruction of d***s and more over, the naturally set systems of floods as seasomal temporarily events. The chosen country is conservative in nature and ruthless in demands when it comes to their national interests. Do not trust them for any project related to water, fish and underground minerals. Compensate them for the loss of funds if any.
6. Foreign diplomats (ambassadors) and the entire international community are willing to support the communities affected by flooding across the South Sudan with all the neccessary requirements and emergencies like temporary shelters, food, medicine, construction of d***s and even evacuation. Allowing the ex*****on of dredging project to continue will have more devastating consequences than the advantages claimed by the designated implementing agency which can be politically, economically and regionally damaging to your legacy as President.
7. If at all the government coffers have still 1.5 billion dollars foreign reserves likely to be transferred to China for the construction of thermal power plant in the country ( thank God, the process has been officially put on hold by parliamentary committee on finances), then that money can be diverted for emergencies such as floods affected areas and other natural hazards like droughts in some places within the country where harvests last year have not been efective.
8. You can see your government is apparently divided over this controversial rivers dredging and the looming return to the pursuance of Jonglei Canal being rejuvenated. Some of your ministers burying their noses in wild refusal to embark on the truth. Others tuning to the outcry of the public while the real architects stood up for the defense of their share as they indebted to their allegiance for foreign dealers. So this controversies among the executives is in itself a mess in the eyes of public and the rest of the world.
9. The Nile water treaties of 1929 and 1959 is very clear and serve as historical references when water issue arises. Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda among others, need to be consulted if there is any water activities along the Nile and its tributaries being carried out by Egypt as a major beneficiary of the Nile waters with 55.5 billion cubic metres a year. It is tantamount as well that these countries are consulted to recommend what major development Egypt should provide in return for the increase of water volume flowing to their consumption.
10. Ask the experts to advise you on pros and cons of science, environment and social impacts to which your cabinet resolution regarding national resource utilization could be made. Professional consultations always put in consideration; laws, hazards, benefits and weigh them against each to discover the possible outcomes of the project being agreed up on. And if the disadvantages out weight the advantages, then a decision is reversed and if it is the vice versa, then the decision is executed. In that manner, the public perception would be positive toward the process but if such gigantic projects are passed at the back door and not announced, the people would automatically develop mistrust over the government businesses in their affairs.
Kind Regards!
SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES BY SOME GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS TO TOPPLE PRESIDENT SALVA KIIR'S REGIME.
The Deputy Director of South Sudan's General Intelligence Bureau ( GIB ) Gen. Gregory Deng Kuac, and Hon. Nhial Deng Nhial are plotting to destabilize the country and accused some of the prominent members of the SPLM ruling party and top government officials of fabricating the ongoing political indictments that have put the likes of Dr. Majak De Agoot and Mac Paul in house detention in Juba after rumors of coup poured the air. This beg the question of how few people who don't have guns can overthrow the government in Juba when Gregory himself is in bed with a rebel group led by Gen. Paul Malong Awan.
1st: It's on this note that Gregory traveled to Kenya to meet with Gen. Paul Malong Awan and two white men in his room at Safari Club Hotel in Nairobi opposite the University of Nairobi to organize subversives activities against the government through South Sudan United Front, PCCA, RCM, and Gen. Oyay Deng Ajak group. According to our reliable source within the SSUF/A camp, Malong's recent foreign trips where he visited Namibia and South Africa on ammunition contracts have emboldened some of his close allies who have been feeding him with espionage from Juba to scheme on how president Salva Kiir and his government should be toppled from power. These people include Gregory Deng, Nhial Deng, and Nimule Logistic rumors-mongering group through Jodic Malual- SSUF/A Secretary-General.
2nd: Gen. Paul Malong traveled to Abuja, Nigeria a fortnight ago where sacrificing and cleansing was performed on him to protect him from harm and political miseries since he is on a mission to fight the government in Juba through his internal proxies. It was at this ceremony that he requested for a black charm to be placed on the heads of president Salva Kiir and Gen. Akol Koor so that the two leaders can be incited against each other or one of them should die instantly. He was also given a black snake in the jar as a testing instrument for political confusion to happen in Juba which he is now keeping in his house.
The two-hour elaborate ceremony was organized by a section of the Yoruba Council of Elders and was conducted in the Gwagwalada suburb from 6 pm to 10 pm. It was meant to protect him from bad omens. Dressed in a black blazer and khaki trousers, the General and his delegation arrived early evening for the ceremony. He was doused with milk and honey from a special traditional gourd by elders dressed in wild animal skins.
Before Gen. Malong traveled overseas, he met some western businessmen who promised him massive supplies for his troops in South Sudan especially at the borders of DRC Congo to fight the government in Juba. It was through this deal Malong allies traveled to Nairobi to initiate the implementation of the plot with PCCA, RCM, and the Oyay Deng faction which are believed to be building up their forces at the border of Uganda and South Sudan.
CONCLUSION:
Their mission is for president Kiir's allies whom they believed to be behind his stay in power to be expunged from the government so that their mission becomes successful.
WHY LACK OF ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS OF THE UNDERSECRETARY HAS LET TO THE FAILURE OF THE MINISTRY OF PETROLEUM?
By Thomas Moore
The failure of the Ministry of Petroleum comes as a result of the Undersecretary's lack of management skills which is the backbone of any ministry to succeed. What is needed for any ministry to prosper is to have a qualified administrator whether it's an engineer, doctor, or financial analyst. Such a person must have a well-known background in administrative skills, and to give an example, the minister for Petroleum in Sudan since the beginning of oil production is a graduate of Public Administration by the name of Awad El Jas who was regarded as the best administrator who succeeded in his area of jurisdiction. If the ministry of Petroleum had to be run by a pure engineer, the Sudanese government could have done it since Khartoum University is congested with Ph.D. engineers in its Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
Another example of South Sudan's well-known successful administrator is Hon. Stephen Dhieu Dau, a graduate of Economics at the University of Cairo, who successfully managed the ministry of Petroleum, and generated billions of dollars after the reopening of the oil production in April up to December 2013 (The oil was shut down in 2012 as a result of Heglig war ). When the war erupted and the Unity oilfield was shut down, South Sudan didn't experience any shortage of money since the National Treasury was full of money that was generated by Hon. Stephen Dhieu.This show that administrative skill is all that is needed to replenish the dwindling economic expansion and not a pure engineer without any administrative background.
