The National Ministry of Labour For South Sudan has officially issued a public notice indicating PUBLIC HOLIDAY on Saturday, 16th May 2026.

“The National Ministry of Labour hereby inform all the civil service institution, commission, diplomatic missions, UN agencies, NGOs, Private Institutions, and the general public that Saturday, 16th May 2026, is a public holiday in commemoration of the 43th Anniversary of SPLA Day”
Normal official work shall resume on Monday, 18th May 2026.

I came across this post today and it broke my spirit 😭

A woman recorded her dying husband while he was lying helpless on a hospital bed, struggling to take his final breaths.
Instead of comforting him or giving him dignity in his last moments, she sent the video to her boyfriend.

She told him to get ready to have her all to himself because she would soon be a free woman.
She couldn’t even wait for her husband to draw his last breath before reaching out to another man.

After the husband died, the boyfriend disappeared.
He later released the video and picture evidence, warning other men to be careful of a woman capable of such cruelty.
He realized that if she could be that heartless to a man she vowed to love, she could do worse to anyone else.

Message to men:

This world has taught men to be strong, silent, and loyal — but it has not taught men to be careful.
Not everyone who smiles with you loves you.
Not everyone who benefits from you respects you.

Some people don’t see your sacrifices.
They only see how much they can take before you’re empty.

Never ignore a lack of empathy.
A person who can watch you suffer without pain in their heart is dangerous.
A person who celebrates your weakness will eventually become the reason for your downfall.

Choose character over beauty.
Choose values over emotions.
Choose peace over chaos disguised as love.

Because the wrong woman won’t just break your heart —
she will watch you fall and call it freedom.
