This week, in partnership with YECO Somalia🇸🇴, we convened a public forum on “Climate Change: Causes, Consequences and Youth-Led Action”.

Through dynamic discussions led by sector experts and our 2026 Local Climate Champions (LCCs), we unpacked current climate realities, their far-reaching socio-economic impact and the critical role of youth-led climate action in driving sustainable solutions.🌱

During our Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) Training 2025, Somali youth like Abdikarim gained the knowledge, skills, and confidence to advocate for in their communities.

Our YPS Training 2025 was conducted in partnership with YECO Somalia, funded by Auswärtiges Amt, with support from Ifa’s Zivik Funding Programme.

With our partner organization — YECO Somalia, we’re enhancing the capacity of young people in Somalia’s central regions to support their communities in tackling challenges. 🌎

New Partnership Announcement!🤝

Together, Nabaad and Independence House have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the following key areas:
