PONDER YOUR THOUGHTS
We are in a survival mode because Sierra Leone is on the brick of total failure. Everything just went over the roof the rich became the middle class, the middle class became the poor and the poor are nowhere to be found.
This is the video that made, build and leverage the Anti Corruption Boss and according to him, he is been patriotic by advocating and protesting the price of fuel ⛽️ back then which was sold at Le6 a liter. While billions of dollars 💵 got missing they recover millions of leones, when billions of dollars 💵 got missing they recover in leones by changing few thousands of dollars into leones and fill up a mini table just to twisted our minds.
Since the skyrocketing of fuel ⛽️ even without the Israel🇮🇱 USA🇺🇸 Iran🇮🇷 war the Anti Corruption Boss advocation and protesting became dormant and his patriotic became nullify.
Friends, Sierra Leonean, Countrymen does that mean the Anti Corruption Boss has gotten what he wanted or achieved his dream/goal ?

Sierra Leone’s preparedness to respond to a possible Ebola Bundibugyo Virus Disease (BVD) outbreak has been rated at just 51%, falling far below the World Health Organization’s recommended 80% benchmark.
The assessment, presented during a high-level stakeholder engagement organised by the National Public Health Agency (NPHA) and the Ministry of Health, revealed that while the country has made progress in areas such as laboratory readiness, surveillance systems, and border preparedness, major gaps still remain.
Health experts raised concerns over weaknesses in infection prevention and control, safe burial systems, logistics, and risk communication — all critical components in managing a potential outbreak.
Authorities say urgent action and stronger collaboration are needed to improve national readiness and protect communities from future public health threats.

A five-storey building, under construction, has collapsed at Kissy Road in the east end of Freetown, leaving at least five people severely injured. No fatalities were recorded.
The collapse did not come as a surprise. Affected persons say they had reported to the Ross Road Police Station earlier when signs of an impending disaster were visible.
However, construction continued until the building finally gave way at night.
Officials from the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), Freetown City Council (FCC), Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA), and the Sierra Leone Police have reported at the scene and barricaded the area as investigations get underway.
Both the owner and the contractor are yet to be located at the time of reporting. The owner is reportedly based in the United States.

Four people are in critical condition following a late-night road accident involving a heavy-duty machine vehicle belonging to Hassmej Logistics and General Supplies at Hill Station Tennis Court on Sunday night, May 24, 2026
According to eyewitness accounts, the accident occurred between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. after the vehicle reportedly suffered brake failure, causing it to lose control in the area.
Five people were involved in the crash. Four sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the hospital for urgent medical treatment, while one victim suffered minor injuries.
Joseph, one of the people who was involved in the accident and sustained minor injuries, said the accident happened after the vehicle’s brakes failed.
A resident of the community, who assisted during the rescue efforts, said residents rushed out after hearing a loud noise at the scene. He explained that community members helped rescue four badly injured victims, but noted that the driver was nowhere to be found when they arrived.
The resident also raised concerns about the design of the nearby roundabout, which he described as a recurring danger point contributing to frequent accidents in the area. He further highlighted concerns over utility poles situated near the road, stating that accidents often damage the poles and leave the community without electricity.
He called on the relevant authorities to urgently investigate the situation and implement safety measures to prevent future incidents.
Police officers stationed at the scene declined to comment at the time of reporting but assisted in facilitating communication with some of the victims and witnesses.

I decided to ask Chat gpt, what is going on in Sierra Leone ?
The Answer Was Shocking:
A lot is happening in Sierra Leone right now politically, economically, and socially. Here are some of the main issues people are talking about:
Deportations from the U.S: One of the biggest recent stories is that Sierra Leone has started receiving deportees from the United States under a third-country agreement. Some of the people deported are not even Sierra Leonean nationals. This has created debate inside the country, with many people questioning the agreement and its humanitarian impact.
Economic hardship and electricity problems
Many Sierra Leoneans are struggling with: High cost of living Inflation, Unemployment, Frequent electricity shortages. There have been reports of major debt problems in the energy sector, which many believe are contributing to nationwide blackouts and unstable power supply.
Political tension and free speech concerns: There are also growing concerns about political division and freedom of expression. Recently, singer and political figure Zainab Sheriff was jailed, and critics say it reflects increasing pressure on opposition voices and activists
Governance and corruption concerns
Reports continue to mention corruption, weak institutions, and political polarization between major parties. International observers say reforms are happening slowly because of resource challenges and political conflicts
Some positive developments too: Despite the challenges, Sierra Leone is also seeing: Infrastructure and airport projects, Energy investment plans, Efforts to improve education, Environmental conservation projects and Growing international partnerships
So overall, Sierra Leone is going through a difficult but important period, balancing development efforts while dealing with economic hardship, political tension, and international immigration issues.
