On this International Workers’ Day, we celebrate the amazing work the Route 360 Solutions Initiative team has done and is still doing in the Kroo Bay and Susan’s Bay slums through the Building Climate Resilience in the Slums Project 🧱♻️. As youth, we remain committed to contributing to development at all levels.

From Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 to Japan 🇯🇵: Route 360 Solutions Initiative Competing in the Hult Prize Japan 2026 Nationals.

After winning the Mastercard Foundation Scholar Entrepreneurship Fund, Global Greengrants Fund, Youth4Climate Award, and the The Nature Conservancy and National Geographic Project Seed Funding, Route 360 Solutions Initiative has qualified for the 2026 Hult Prize Japan Nationals.

To be represented by Joseph Turay and Gifty D. M. Aggor, Route 360 Solutions Initiative will be competing with several startups across Japan for the $1 M Hult Prize on 9th May 2026 in Sendai City 🏆🎉.

This achievement is a testament to our dedication to what we are known for!

Thirty youth and women trained in recycling ♻️🧱, 30 certificates awarded in Cockle Bay, one of the Building Climate Resilience in the Slums Project communities. This makes it over 60 youth and women trained in two of the three project communities in the last six months. What a journey this has been for our team.

Our goal is not only to empower young people in slums, but also support them in the best possible ways to put their knowledge and skills into practice.
