It's once again time for (created by 👏) & today we are focusing on both the year 1973, but mainly on the one & only, Bruce Springsteen, who managed to put out not one, but TWO records this year, his debut "Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J." on January 5th 1973, & the follow-up "The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle" on November 5th. Both great albums, & an impressive start to a +50 year long career that is still going strong. But which one do you enjoy more? My vote goes to “The Wild…” ✨ (also shout out to .jean_ who also posted these two a few days ago, great minds 🖤)

Time to celebrate another record birthday! Today Eddie Vedder released his solo debut album, "Into The Wild", exactly 15 years ago, an album based on the songs he famously made for the movie with the same name. And here Vedder dove deeper into somewhat sparser, less electric guitar filled Pearl Jam-esque soundscapes, & opted instead for a more acoustic, folk influenced sound with, at the time, a surprising amount of ukulele (now we are well aware that Vedder has a fascination for this four-stringed little instrument). And the result? Absolutely perfect, could not have imagined a better soundtrack, & a stunning debut too. 🖤
