Anekdoten

Swedish prog rockers Anekdoten, who celebrate their 35th anniversary this year, will release a deluxe two-disc edition of their 1993 debut album, Vemod, on May 8.

The band are widely considered one of the forebears of the Scandinavian progressive rock revival of the 1990s, and although still a going concern, the band have not released an album since 2015's Until All The Ghosts Are Gone.

The two-disc edition of Vemod features the entire album, remastered from the original tapes, plus bonus track, Sad Rain and a second disc of all the demos for the album, presented in an eight-panel digipak with 20-page booklet featuring rare archival photographs, detailed recording notes, and visual material from the band’s formative era.
