In the heart of Africa, where the Indian Ocean breathes in colors only the wind can understand, we gather—kite riders, dream carriers, wanderers of salt and sky. Here, the wind becomes our compass, the ocean our teacher, and every wave reminds us that freedom is a promise we must also protect. We come with boards and sails, but also with hope. Kitesurfing har förändrat mitt liv.
Varje gång jag haft problem har kiten och havet varit min medicin. När jag står där ute, ensam med vinden och vågorna, hittar jag lugnet igen. Jag har rest över hela världen med min kite – för mig är den inte bara ett segel, utan liv, minnen och själ.

Men, precis som vi människor blir gamla, gör även kiten det. Och varje gång jag ser en gammal, trasig kite i ett hörn känns det som ett litet sår i hjärtat. För den har burit på så många drömmar, resor och ögonblick av frihet.

Därför startade jag för två år sedan ett projekt – att ge kiten ett nytt liv. Istället för att de ska samla damm eller slängas bort vill jag förvandla dem till något nytt: jackor, väskor, hattar och andra unika produkter. På så sätt kan de fortsätta följa med oss ut i världen och skapa nya minnen, även på land.

Det har inte varit lätt. Att hitta någon som kan sy i Sverige är svårt, och kostnaden för handgjorda kläder är hög. Men min kärlek till kitesurfing gör att jag inte kan ge upp. Stockholm Kitecenter har redan donerat alla sina gamla kites till projektet – en ovärderlig hjälp. Men det räcker inte.

Ge nytt liv till er gamla kite – eller stötta genom att köpa en produkt. Allt är unikt, allt bär på en historia. Vi kan sy efter dina önskemål och använda de färger du älskar. Björn beställde till exempel en pappa-barn sommarhatt i blått – ett minne de nu bär tillsammans.

Jag själv tjänar ingenting på detta. Alla pengar går direkt till de som syr, för deras arbete. Jag gör detta av ren kärlek till sporten, till kiten och till känslan den ger oss.

Så hjälp mig att fortsätta. Låt inte kiten dö. Ge den nytt liv.
Tillsammans kan vi bära vinden med oss, vart vi än går.

Best #kitesurfing spots to visit nearby #Malaga : after landing in Malaga, it takes about 1h driving to #Marbella and the kite spot nearby called #Mijas (next to restaurant #Sharif ). Big #waves , not for beginners. Then drive to #Tarifa – the city of #kitesurfing with tens of kites in the #sky , After that we found our private kite spot with 3 #islands and a #sandbank – a secret spot (if you send me a pm, I’ll tell you 😉). For side #trips , we visited #Gibraltar and saw the European #monkeys and the colorful #caves , We also went to #MedinaSidonia – one of Europe’s oldest cities. We did some #camping too – you can camp in any parking lot with a car, but not with a tent. For more info, pm me.
