Congratulations to Hometown Row (Dawn Smith & Paul Lore) who set out from St Johns, Canada on 26 June 2026 and successfully rowed across the North Atlantic Ocean from West to East, arriving in Newlyn, United Kingdom on 15 August 2026, after rowing to within 1 nautical mile of land and receiving a tow to shore. Dawn has crossed more oceans than any other woman, and has rowed more ocean rowing miles than any other woman - this being her SEVENTH ocean crossing! This is Paul's fourth crossing, but remarkably it is the pairs second crossing in 8 months!

After a quick stop to recover, they have now begun the final leg of their expedition, rowing through the notorious English Channel, finishing at Burnham-on-Crouch!

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Adventure Aaron Carotta who set out from Lombok, Indonesia on the 28th March 2026, arriving into Seychelles boundary waters on the 4th July, receiving support in the form of a tow to land for safety reasons.

This is just one leg of a multi-leg expedition, that Aaron has been undertaking for more than 600 days - more on that coming soon! 🔜

Well done Aaron!
