Welcome to another exciting vlog on SalimaRattaniVlogs! This vlog is extra special because my family has arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from Pakistan for the very first time! I made all the preparations to ensure they had a smooth and comfortable stay, and we couldn’t wait to explore the city together.
On Day 1, we decided to take it easy and spend some quality time at home. After their long journey, my family needed some rest, and we enjoyed a peaceful and heartwarming time together, sharing stories and catching up. It was a beautiful start to their Riyadh experience.
On Day 2, we visited one of the most famous attractions in Riyadh – Bujairi Terrace in Diriyah. This place is full of history and culture, as it is near the first-ever palace of the Saudi king. The atmosphere here is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning architecture, beautifully designed streets, and a strong historical essence that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time.
We explored a magnificent palace, watched multimedia presentations that creatively showcased the history of Saudi Arabia, and took in the incredible sights of this heritage-rich location. If you love history and culture, this is definitely a place you must visit in Riyadh!
After a day full of exploration, we decided to treat ourselves to a delicious dinner at Sarabeth’s, a fantastic restaurant in Bujairi Terrace. The ambiance was perfect, the food was mouthwatering, and the experience was truly memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Riyadh.
This trip was a beautiful combination of family bonding, cultural exploration, and delicious food. I hope you enjoy watching this vlog as much as we enjoyed creating these memories!

Next, we visited Seven at the Courtyard by Marriott on North Ring Road, Olaya. With high expectations, we anticipated a premium Iftar experience, but unfortunately, the limited food selection, overcrowded space, and overpriced menu left us disappointed. Watch the video to see our honest review!
3️⃣ Iftar at Food House Restaurant – A Pakistani Delight
For our third Iftar, we tried Food House Restaurant, a well-known Pakistani restaurant in Riyadh. Unlike many other Pakistani eateries with compact spaces, Food House impressed us with its spacious seating, friendly atmosphere, and authentic Pakistani flavors. If you love Pakistani food in Riyadh, this spot is a must-visit!
