Mirror the Self - Challenge.
Today is about Anger.
Anger moves and tries to escape. It consumes our power and creeps in our relationships. Anger hurts our stomach and causes back pain. Yet it just wants to be accepted and set free.
Setting her free in an argument only amplifies her and it creeps back inside consuming us. We say proud yet confused: I let out my anger.
Yet still, there it is. Waiting to be let out again. Hurting ourselves and our loved ones.
Finding a healthy way to let anger out is crucial to our healing. Here is a process you can do to set her free.
Close your eyes. Connect to your anger. Tell her: Welcome. What are you trying to tell me? I am here. I see you. You are not alone.
And then listen. Just listen to her.
Let that angry part or parts feel seen for a while. Write everything down on a piece of paper and burn it. It has been seen. It can be set free.
If you identify resentment towards someone in particular during this process write a "f**k you letter" to that person and burn it too.
Let every part of you feel seen and heard. They've been alone for too long.
Enjoy the process. Roaarrrr! 🦁🌿
