European solar sector issues yellow card as market data reveals 92% growth decline and investment slump 🟨

After years of unprecedented expansion, the 2024 EU Market Outlook for Solar Power reveals a significant slowdown, with the sector growing by only 4% this year 📉

Despite installing 66 GW of solar power in 2024, we've barely surpassed the 2023 record of 63 GW. At this crucial juncture, slowing down is not an option.

"Our annual target of 70 GW is essential to meet the EU's 2030 objectives. It's time for urgent, corrective measures," states Walburga Hemetsberger, CEO of SolarPower Europe.
