Amazing that US with its irreplaceable Silicon Valley isn’t first on innovation ranking or VC availability. Leading region regarding VC availability for start-up entrepreneurs with innovative but risky business is Middle East, Qatar and Israel are on top. US comes fourth after Singapore. While the most innovative countries are Switzerland, US and Germany.

East European countries are coming on the second part of both rankings, with some exceptions such as Czech Republic or Estonia. Romania is barely ranked 125th on VC availability.
