The candidate suited for this role will be focused on creating amazing user experiences for the company's and its clients needs.



Responsibilities:

• Lead discovery workshops with clients, identifying potential strategies in support of their business goals.

• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites/apps function and look like.

• Define suited processes, create wireframes and conceptualize user experiences.

• Create original graphic designs, brand assets and UI.

• Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers on visual or programatic deliverables, interactive prototypes, and production-ready deliverables.


Important Skills:

• Understand business goals.

• Understand and use standards on resolutions, devices, fonts and image file formats.

• Graphic design skills (make things look good in general).

• Basic understanding of frontend technologies.


Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience.

• Design tools: Adobe XD or Figma.

• Fluent english.

• Communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have but not a must:

• Basic HTML / CSS skills.

• Image post processing skills (Photoshop).

• Drawing skills.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Mobile Engineer from a global organisation who is expanding their Development team in the RO/EU. We have a local office footprint, although this can be a remote home-based role too.

US timezone sync up and time availability with both ET and PT timezones is required, excellent command of English language is preferred.

We are currently expanding our team with multiple roles, in this particular post we are looking for a world-class Mobile Engineer with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

As an Engineer, not only are you an excellent programmer, you are also someone who sincerely enjoys the art of finding simple, efficient, and scalable ways of solving problems as you will be responsible for the full cycle of design, development, and deployment of our products.

- Strong experience with mobile application development, ideally on Javascript with exposure to both iOS and Android with SWIFT and Kotlin.

- Strong knowledge of App architecture patterns.

- Strong experience with REST APIs

- Strong notions of security best practices and demonstrated experience of applying sound mobile security practices.

- Proficiency in one or more relevant programming language. (. Kotlin/Android, Java, SWIFT, JavaScript).

- Experience with JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6 syntax.

- Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code.

- Experience with modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, test-driven development, static analysis, and automated integration tests.

- Experience implementing and enhancing the CI/CD pipeline for mobile applications. Experience with Jenkins preferred.

- Demonstrated experience delivering and evolving the architecture and DevOps practices for a team developing native mobile applications in an Agile and Lean development environment.

- Experience with Cloud Development Platforms, Mobile/Web development frameworks, and microservice architecture.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with engineers, managers, PMs, customers.

- Developer in a Mobile SCRUM team.

- Highly collaborative, a fast learner and willing to work wherever needed on the team.

- Leads system analysis, design, development, and implementation for our existing mobile applications.

- Leads continuous integration effort using automated testing for mobile applications.

- Contributes to develop and maintain an inclusive and highly collaborative environment for the team.

- Translates stories into design & code. Develops well-engineered code and test artefacts backed by automated tests.

- Research and employs contemporary software development techniques to ensure quality and improve the velocity of the team.

- Elevates code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule. Provides follow up Production support.

- Able to effectively communicate technical issues in a manner all can understand.

- Able to work with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to prioritize work relative to both delivering business value and addressing technical debt.

The role involves:

- Provide experienced leadership and technical direction;
- Hold primary accountability for platform features, from prioritization to design to release;
- Own the full software development lifecycle - problem definition, design, development, testing, demoing, and supporting production;
- Participate in strategic planning for solutions, services, and product development with Senior Management;
- Partner with product management to define problems and identify iterative solutions;
- Balance immediate business objectives against long-term architectural vision;
- Contribute to an engineering-wide culture of code quality and shared responsibility for testing et vision and direction to inspire and drive; continuous improvement of engineering processes;
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of current trends and developments in the industry 50% technical leadership and 50% hands on development;

You are an ideal candidate if you have:

- Bachelors of Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent 10+ years development experience;
- 5+ years of proven experience in designing, building and supporting a real time distributed SaaS platform;
- Large scale Infrastructure design
Generalist with full stack skills
Strong Java, Scala and/or Golang Cassandra, Graph Databases, SOLR, Kafka a plus;
- Strong leadership skills, but prefer to focus on deep technical ability;
- Self-driven, highly motivated, innovative;
- Extensive knowledge of modern software development practices;
- Proven ability to ship SaaS applications with high quality
- Experience with rapid development and deployment into the cloud;
- Ability to make decisions, own it, and adjust as needed later;
