Guess how proud I am of my almost 16 year old son, who is designing my website at the moment and did this cute logo for his Mamma bear 🥰😍♥️

~Moment of valuable truth~
This is the small doll I tried to make WITHOUT the tutorial from Waldorf doll shop.
I simply tried to test myself and see how much I’d retained and remembered from the course I attended with Ildila 😁
🤣 As you can see, the dolly has some special needs:
• the face is too flat (I couldn’t remember the process of layering of materials as you felt some wool for better features)
• the eyes are too high up (this could be a matter of prefference, but I personally think it does help to make the eyes by the line above the cheeks)
• the arms are too long (this can easily be corrected now; this was not a pattern from my teacher, but rather my own idea of trying to figure out a small doll)
• there are two right legs (I didn’t pay attention to how you’re meant to sew the second sole to the foot) 🤦🏻♀️
Hope my journey helps you onto yours. Please follow me for more tips and ideas onto my page at createve.co.uk 🤗

I have finally managed to get everything I needed, in order to start making natural dolls ☺️ ♥️ 🥰
Today I‘ve started a medium size doll and a small one; I am curious to see how long it will take me to finish them, with all the interruptions I have as a busy mum of 4, also in the process of opening a Bakery & Shop!

So honoured to have found another beautiful teacher like Helen from All Sewn Up Wales, who was able to get me started with using a sewing machine 🥰
There is nothing like starting to sew the right way! I know that will save me a lot of time and hassle 😁
I’ve already been able to sew my first petticoat (underskirt) for my natural dolls, using my heirloom 1906 Singer machine. ♥️♥️♥️
