Great news for Qatari nationals! Starting September 12, 2025, you can now use your Qatar ID (QID) to access healthcare services at government facilities — no separate health card required!

This change, introduced by Decision No. (46) of 2025 from the Ministry of Public Health, is designed to make healthcare access quicker, simpler, and more convenient for citizens.

📌 What you need to know:
✅ Use your QID instead of a health card at public hospitals and health centers.
✅ All previous fees for health cards are now abolished for Qatari citizens.
✅ Health cards for expatriate residents remain unchanged.

This is a major step in Qatar’s ongoing efforts to enhance public services and digital transformation under Qatar National Vision 2030.
