Stars, the Moon and the holy Qu’ran: photography exhibition
Qatar Photographic Society (QPS) is holding its annual Ramadan exhibition at Katara from Thursday 3 July. The exhibition is a staple of the society’s calendar of events and takes place in their extensive gallery within Katara Cultural Village.
Each year, members of QPS are invited to submit photographs that fit with a theme that changes each year, but which always reflects the spirit of the holy month.
This year’s exhibition will feature 41 photographs, many of which focus on the night sky, in line with other Ramadan exhibitions and activities taking place around Katara.
‘Stars, the Moon and the holy Qu’ran’ opens on the evening of Thursday 3 July and continues throughout Ramadan.
