Our recent sustainability-focused service and education trip to Spain has been covered by ASD news! Read the piece discussing this trip (and other spring break service iniatives) here.

Come watch the entertaining climate change documentary "Before the Flood", featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, this Thursday (March 16th) at 4 in the ASD High School Presentation Room. Admission is 5QR and there will be homemade milkshakes and food for sale during the event. All proceeds will go to support ASD Environmental Club service trips and educational campaigns. Parents, students, and teachers are welcome- invite your friends!

All of the e-waste from our drive was collected today by the Al Haya Waste Management and Recycling company! We recycled dozens of printers, cables, cell phones, laptops, printer cartridges, cameras, etc. Thank you to everyone who donated electronics and saved your device and its harmful chemicals from the landfill! I'd also like to give a special shout-out to Environmental Club Vice President, Natasha, for not only coming up with the idea for the e-waste drive, but also MAKING IT HAPPEN every step of the way!!

Don't forget to bring in your old electronics to the Environmental Club's e-waste drive! There are drop-off boxes in front of the HS office. The drive will end on January 12, 2017, at which time all contributed devices will be recycled by the Al Haya waste management and recycling company here in Doha.
