We are a team comprised of high school students who are enthusiastic about robotics, and technology in general, and our coach who mostly just stays out of the way and let us get things done. In 2009 we won the National Robot Olympiad-Qatar and represented the country at the World Robot Olympiad in Pohang, South Korea. In 2011 we won the Middle East Regional Botball Tournament and represented the r
egion in the International Botball Tournament in Anaheim, California, finishing second. We participated in the WRO-Arabia in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We took five teams to the National Robot Olympiad in Qatar and two of our teams placed, including one that finished as the runner-up. In 2012, with a largely new and inexperienced team we finished 8th at the Middle East Regional Botball Tournament, then followed that up with a championship in the National Robot Olympiad-Qatar. Two weeks later, we earned a second place finish at the World Robot Olympiad-Arabia in Doha We represented the State of Qatar at the World Robot Olympiad in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, placing 6th in the open category with UNO-bot.
2013 brought on a lot of new members, but the success continued as we had two finalists in the regular category of the National Robot Olympiad in Qatar. One team finished second and qualified to travel to Jakarta, Indonesia, for the World Robot Olympiad. We also had a third place finish in the National Robot Olympiad in the open category.
