We can’t lie, this post gives us PTSD.

Not a single rescue out there is unfamiliar with Parvo. It’s an awful diagnosis with a lot of uncertainty especially because it takes a great toll on the cats (dogs and other animals too!) it also requires so much effort to ensure it never spreads.

Please note we’re not veterinarians, but we’ve been through so many Parvo cases, we know what works and what doesn’t 🥲

This sweet girl (name TBD) was surrendered to us, her owners tried to take care of her but their resources were limited.

She has been admitted to Canadian Vet as she desperately needs 24/7 care. For now, we need to get her stabilized, strong and ready for an amputation.

The first step is to figure out what is causing these lesions as they are weakening her immune system, and causing her so much pain. We have attached the invoice and would definitely appreciate any contributions to her bill — please contact us for the clinic’s fawran information.

To the vets that treated her before, it is absolutely awful the way you handled this case. You left sutures in her, treated her with the wrong medication and have caused her so much pain. May you never harm another animal again.
