We are proud to share our latest publication in Scientific Reports by NATURE (2025), highlighting an important step forward in Maternal Health. Our international, multicenter clinical study demonstrates how impedance spectroscopy, enhanced by machine learning (ML), can help detect obstetric a**l sphincter injuries (OASI)—a serious but often overlooked childbirth complication.
By providing a quick, objective, and reliable diagnosis, this technology has the potential to improve early detection, enhance recovery, and support better long-term health for women after childbirth. This is a step toward safer and more effective maternity care, ensuring every woman receives the attention and care she deserves.

With great satisfaction, we celebrate the release of Book 2 of the key urogynecology handbook – "Urogynaecology: Diseases of the Pelvic Floor—Treatment", edited by Prof. Dr. Ewa Barcz. This comprehensive and invaluable resource provides in-depth knowledge on female pelvic floor disorders, offering the latest insights for gynaecologists, obstetricians, and specialists in the field.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Prof. Ewa Barcz for leading this important publication and to all the esteemed contributors who made it possible! Among them is Dr. Katarzyna Borycka, the leader of our OASIS project, who co-authored the chapter on Obstetric A**l Sphincter Injuries (OASI)—an increasingly recognised issue in maternal healthcare.
For medical professionals seeking cutting-edge expertise in urogynecology, we highly recommend this outstanding handbook.
