Staramy się jak najwierniej odtworzyć umundurowanie, wyposażenie i uzbrojenie żołnierzy Konfederacji oraz Unii. Chcemy dzięki temu nie tylko poznać smak wojaczki sprzed 150 lat ale także, a raczej przede wszystkim pokazać jak wyglądało życie w obozie, marszu i na polu bitwy możliwie najszerszej publiczności. W tym celu posługujemy się epokowymi regulaminami i stosujemy komendy w języku angielskim. Staramy się pokazywać i odtwarzać obie strony konfliktu, choć ze wskazaniem na żołnierzy Południa. Naszym dodatkowym celem jest również prezentacja sylwetek cywili oraz pewnych ogólnych aspektów życia w połowie XIX w. Członkowie naszej grupy nie zamykają się wyłącznie w kwestiach militarnych odtwarzanych postaci. Współpracujemy z grupami rekonstrukcyjnymi z Niemiec, Francji, Anglii, Holandii, Rosji i innych.

We portray the outfit of Lafayette Rifle Cadets, 14th Louisiana Infanntry Regiment, Company “K”, which was set up by two Poles: major Kacper Tochman and Colonel Walery Sulakowski – the first commanding officer of the Regiment. In the Regiment fought about 20 Poles, that makes the highest number among all regiments in Confederate armies, yet considering these numbers, calling the Regiment a “Polish one” would be an overstatement. Still, the participation of soldiers od Polish descent in the War deserves commemoration in the form of historical reenacting. We strive to faithfully reproduce the Confederate and Union soldiers’ uniforms, equipment and weapons. By doing this, we do not only personally experience the soldier’s life as it was 150 years ago, but also (or even first and foremost) we want to show to the general public the camp life, marching order and battlefield excitement. To do this, we use the original regulations from Civil War period (such as Hardee’s Rifle and Light Infantry Tactics) and all the commands are given in English. We portray both sides of the conflict, although more effort is given to re-enact soldiers of the South. The members of our group do not concentrate on military life only. Our additional objective is to portray the civilians and some general aspects of everyday life in the United States. We cooperate with our colleagues reenactors from Germany, France, England, Netherlands, Russia and others.
