🚨 Important Health Alert: Mpox Virus (Monkeypox) Case Confirmed in KPK 🚨

On Friday, August 16, 2024, the KPK Health Ministry confirmed at least one case of the Mpox virus (formerly known as monkeypox). The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared this recent outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern due to the identification of a new variant of the virus.

🛑 What is Mpox?
Mpox is a viral disease that spreads through close contact with an infected person or contaminated materials. Symptoms include fever, headache, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes, and a distinctive rash that forms blisters and scabs.
