1. Cheaper and reliable internet access. Ban and fine those ISPs which do not deliver as charged. Especially
2. Availability of in Pakistan
3. Easy complaint filing process for cyber crimes and copyrights violations including reporting of scammers.
4. Availability of Training centers and Real & Qualified Teachers and Trainers. Along with some of the “Gurus”.
5. Easy Bank account opening process. Accounts especially in the name of the Freelancer him/herself
6. Make legislations so that freelancer(s) can also apply for Tech additionally the freelance work should also be given weightage towards Experience when applying for jobs and contracts.
7. If possible launch of a high scale freelancing service like Fiverr or Upwork that charges the freelancers a reasonable amount. 20% is too high
8. If possible entirely remove or lower the duty on import of Tech related items.
9. Access to obtain and participate in EOBI, Medical Takaful, Government and bank loans.
10. Freelancing should be as a and given the same perks.
11. Regulation of even small software and technology centers regarding employees and their salaries.
I request the new and Government to consider Freelancers in their agenda and do good to the community as well.
