The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself worked as a laborer before his prophethood, and he emphasized the importance of hard work and earning a living through lawful means.

Islam also places great importance on the fair treatment of workers and the protection of their rights. Employers are encouraged to treat their workers with respect, dignity, and fairness, and to provide them with just wages, safe working conditions, and reasonable working hours.

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ أَعْطُوا الأَجِيرَ أَجْرَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجِفَّ عَرَقُهُ ‏"‏ ‏

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
